Zacchary Barfield
Event Program Director
Zacchary is an entrepreneur, writer, lecturer, speaker, mentor and consultant.
Currently, as a visiting lecturer he is helping to run City University's City Spark Workshops & Business Plan Competition, he is a partner at Bessbourgh Consulting Partners, a boutique consultancy and Think Tank and is developing a number of new business projects, in the digital media, technology and digital entertainment media space.
Previously as CEO of Stuffed Animals Media, he worked at the forefront of the Digital Entertainment Media Revolution and he is finishing a book about the subject, called 'Brave New Media'.
As a Serial Entrepreneur, he started at school selling to his classmates. He has been involved with of over a dozen businesses including; Property, Labour Subcontractors, Bars, Restaurants, Nightclubs, Event Management, Security and Film and Television Production. He has previously sat on a number of boards both charitable and commercial in various roles, from advisor to Chairman.
He is a Prince's Trust Business Mentor, a speaker and volunteer for Asthma UK, and an International Advisory Board member for Global Angels.
He has an MBA from Cass Business School.
