Tech Entrepreneurs Week is a leading UK national event and conference for entrepreneurs and investors in the technology industry. The event invites technology companies from all fields of technology, from consumer and enterprise software, hardware and architecture, to all web services and mobile applications businesses. The main event and conference lasts 4 days (5 days for participating Finalists in the Investment Competition).
All technology businesses are invited, particularly companies that are at the seed or venture stage if entering the Investment Competition. Technology firms from overseas are welcome too.
About the Founder
Tech Entrepreneurs Week was founded by Martin Warner, technology and film entrepreneur, and angel investor, with the goal of making investment funding available to every tech entrepreneur in the UK.
Martin has been part of a number of industry transformations during his career, and has participated as an active investor in over a dozen start-ups here in the UK and US.
He is currently CEO & co-founder of Talkbiznow.com, a global business services and networking platform for small business, and Founder and Chairman of Cabo Films, a film production and financing company for independent motion pictures, and currently holds a number of board positions in start-ups here in the UK and the US market.
Martin is a popular technology commentator, and appears frequently on television, radio, in newspapers and magazines, including Fox Business News, Forbes, BBC News, Sky News, CNBC Squawkbox, Social Networking Times, Bloomberg, Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Independent, The Guardian, Financial Times and more.
Past experience has included founding and hosting the Technology of Tomorrow online conference series, of which he interviewed business and technology leaders around the world, incl. Sir Richard Branson and many more. Formerly, he was a European Technology Practice Leader at BearingPoint Inc. and held a variety of investment banking leadership roles at JP Morgan Chase Inc.
Martin is also a strong vocal advocate for entrepreneurism and technology innovation here in the UK and US, and is currently lobbying the UK government to make London a technology centre for global excellence.
He is a committed supporter of Cancer Research UK.
